FAQ's
Q: Should I replace my metal fillings?
A: In general, if they are worn out or leaking, yes. You may also wish to replace them for esthetic reasons.
 
Q: Is mercury detoxification just removing old silver fillings?
A: No, replacing fillings will remove only a potential source.
 
Q: Do you do smile makeovers?
A: Yes, we have many very happy patients.
 
Q: Do you use silver or mercury fillings?
A: No, there are better materials available today. We will be happy to educate you on your options.
 
Q: How long does bleaching take?
A: There are three major techniques, all with various time and results. We will be happy to educate you on your options
 
Q: I have not been to the dentist in a long time. Will it hurt?
A: We offer a nice, friendly and relaxing environment to help you feel completely at ease.
 
Q: Are you accepting new patients?
A: Yes.
 
Q: Do you treat children?
A: Yes, Dr. Bui worked in public health as a dentist for children for 3 years. He now treats adults and children.

Q: Do you accept XYZ dental insurance?
A: Yes. We will be happy to file dental claims for you as long as you provide us with complete and up-to-date information about your dental insurance company.
 
Q: Are you a participating provider for XYZ insurance?
A: No. We do not currently have contracts with any insurance company as a preferred provider, but can provide services to you as an "out-of-network" provider.
 
Q: Do you participate with my HMO?
A: No, we do not participate with any HMO plans.
 
Q: My insurance says that it will pay 100% for cleanings and exams. Why didn't they pay exactly 100% of what you billed me?
A: Insurance companies base payments on their own fee schedules, which may or may not be the same as what we charge.
 
Q: How much do you charge for a check-up and cleaning?
A: Please call us at 301-656-2938 for the current fee for these or other services. Note: we can only provide you with an estimate for some services, and will not be able to tell you exactly how much your insurance plan will pay for any particular service.
